Children’s Holiday Camp Brings Joy and Learning at Anthonykatte

May 20, 2025: A vibrant Children’s Holiday Camp was organized at Anthonykatte on the 19th and 20th of May 2025, bringing together the young minds of the parish community. A total of 40 children from Adyapady and Anthonykatte parishes actively participated in the two-day camp, which was filled with learning, fun, and fellowship.

he camp was formally inaugurated by Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Francis Rodrigues, in the presence of Fathima Ward Gurkhar, Mr. Felix Mathias, who extended their blessings and encouragement to the children. Their words highlighted the importance of such formative camps in instilling values, discipline, and togetherness in the lives of young parishioners.

The camp was animated by Br. Royston D’Souza, Mrs. Sylvia D’Costa, Sr. Jyothi and other resource persons, who guided the children through various sessions designed to nurture values, creativity, and team spirit. Activities included group discussions, interactive games, value-based learning sessions, cultural programs, and prayer moments, ensuring a balance of spiritual growth and joyful engagement.

The initiative provided children with an opportunity to build friendships, develop leadership skills, and strengthen their faith while enjoying their summer break meaningfully. Parents and parishioners appreciated the dedication of the animators and volunteers who made the event a memorable experience for the young participants.
