Children’s Holiday Camp Inspires Joy and Learning at Anthonykatte

April 28, 2026: A lively and enriching Children’s Holiday Camp was held at Anthonykatte on 27th and 28th April 2026, bringing together young members of the parish community. Around 40 children from Adyapady and Anthonykatte participated enthusiastically in the two-day program, which combined learning, fun, and fellowship.

The camp was inaugurated by Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Francis Rodrigues, in the presence of Mr. Rajesh D’Costa, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Committee, Mrs. Sylvia D’Costa, catechism teacher, Br. Ajay D’Souza & Br. Austin D’Souza, Camp Animator, Sr. Jyothi & Sr. Jyothi and Mr. Felix Correa. They offered their blessings and encouraged the children, emphasizing the value of such initiatives in nurturing discipline, faith, and unity among the younger generation.

The camp was animated by Br. Ajay D’Souza and Br. Austin D’Souza, who conducted a variety of engaging sessions aimed at fostering values, creativity, and teamwork. The program featured group discussions, interactive games, value-based lessons, cultural activities, and moments of prayer, ensuring a well-rounded experience of spiritual growth and joyful participation.

The camp provided a meaningful platform for children to build friendships, develop leadership qualities, and deepen their faith during their summer holidays. The efforts of the animators and volunteers were widely appreciated by parents and parishioners, making the event a memorable and impactful experience for all involved.
