Maundy Thursday Observed with Solemnity at St. Antony Church, Anthonykatte

April 02, 2026: St. Antony Church, Anthonykatte, commemorated Maundy Thursday with deep devotion and solemnity on 2^nd April 2026. The Holy Eucharistic celebration was led by Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Francis Rodrigues, who presided over the liturgy marking the beginning of the Sacred Paschal Triduum.

During the Mass, the significant ritual of the washing of the feet of the twelve apostles was carried out by Rev. Fr. Francis Rodrigues, symbolizing Christ’s commandment of humility, service, and love. This moving act reminded the faithful of Jesus’ Last Supper with His disciples and the mandate He gave to serve one another in love.
