June 8, 2025: The parish communities of Adyapady-Anthonykatte Church joyfully welcomed Br. Ajay D’Souza, a third-year theologian of the Diocese of Mangalore from St. Joseph’s Seminary, Jeppu, on Sunday, 8th June 2025. He joins the parish as the Sunday Minister for the year, marking the beginning of his pastoral ministry among the faithful.
At both places, Br. Ajay was accorded a warm and prayerful reception by the parishioners, catechism children, parish leaders, and the clergy. During the introduction at the Holy Eucharist, the parish priests extended words of encouragement and expressed gratitude to the seminary authorities for assigning him to serve the parish community.
The faithful welcomed Br. Ajay with heartfelt joy, assuring him of their support and prayers as he undertakes his ministry of service, prayer, and faith formation in the coming year. The occasion highlighted the parish’s commitment to nurturing and accompanying seminarians in their priestly journey, while also enriching the spiritual life of the community through their youthful energy and dedication. Adyapady and Anthonykatte parishioners looked forward to a year of shared growth in faith under the pastoral presence of Br. Ajay D’Souza.
