Permude, October 11, 2026: Parishioners of Adyapady–Anthonykatte actively participated in the ceremonial procession of in-kind contributions held on October 11, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Church, Permude, marking the inauguration of the renovated church and its Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
Under the leadership of Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Francis Rodrigues, Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Mr. Rajesh D’Costa and Secretary Mrs. Sujatha D’Souza, parishioners generously contributed rice, pulses, coconuts, vegetables and other essential supplies for the occasion.
The parishioners set out from Adyapady, gathered at Anthonykatte and proceeded together to Permude town. There, they joined the grand procession to St. John the Baptist Church, expressing their unity and support for the celebrating parish.
Permude parish felicitated the representatives of Adyapady–Anthonykatte parish in appreciation of the generous contributions and enthusiastic participation of its parishioners.
Dinner was arranged for the guests at the church premises, bringing the gathering to a close in a spirit of fellowship.
