11 February 2026: On the occasion of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, a brief yet prayerful Rosary service was held on 11th February 2026 at 6.00 pm near the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto at St Antony Church, Anthonykatte.
The Rosary was conducted by Silviya D’Costa in the presence of the parishioners. Rev. Fr Francis Rodrigues, Parish Priest, was present and offered prayers, encouraging the faithful to seek Our Lady of Lourdes’ intercession, especially for the sick and suffering.
Special intentions were offered for the sick and suffering, invoking Our Lady of Lourdes—venerated across the world as a source of healing, comfort, and hope. Prayers were also offered for peace in families, the growth of faith among children and youth, and unity within the parish.
Following the Rosary, a short reflection was shared on the apparitions of Our Lady to St Bernadette at Lourdes, highlighting Mary’s message of prayer, penance, humility, and trust in God’s mercy. The faithful were reminded that Lourdes is not only a place of physical healing, but more importantly, a place of spiritual renewal and conversion of heart.
The prayer service concluded with Marian hymns, filling the grotto precincts with melodious devotion, and a concluding prayer seeking the Blessed Mother’s intercession and protection over every family in the parish. The Rosary prayer at the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto was a grace-filled observance of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, deepening Marian devotion in the parish and strengthening the bond of prayerful fellowship among the faithful of St Antony Church, Anthonykatte.
