The Fatima Ward Feast was held in the St Antony Hall Anthonykatte on 20th October 2024

October 20, 2024: The parishioners of St. Antony Church, Anthonykatte came together with great joy and devotion to celebrate the Fatima Ward Feast on Sunday, 20th October 2024, at the St. Antony Hall. The occasion was marked by an atmosphere of festivity, fellowship, and gratitude.

The programme began with competitions and fun-filled games, creating a lively and cheerful environment for all age groups. This was followed by a variety of entertainment programmes, where parishioners showcased their talents in music, dance, and cultural performances, reflecting the unity and spirit of the community.

A special moment of the evening was the honouring of achievers from the ward, who were felicitated for their accomplishments. Prizes were also distributed to the winners of the competitions held earlier, encouraging active participation and enthusiasm among the ward members.

The celebration was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Francis Rodrigues, Parish Priest, Mr. Jhonson Dsouza, Vice President, Mr. Prasanna Dsouza, Gurkar of St. Theresa Ward, Mrs. Monica Pinto, Gurkar of St. Joseph’s Ward, Mrs. Evlalia Mascarenhas, Gurkar of Rosaria Ward, and Mrs. Babitha Pereira, Representative of St. Joseph’s Ward. Their presence added dignity and encouragement to the ward celebration.

The entire programme was well-coordinated and compered by Mr. Wilfy Mathis, who kept the audience engaged throughout the event. The formal vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Felix Mathias, Gurkar of Fatima Ward, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the guests, participants, volunteers, and well-wishers who contributed to the success of the celebration.
